Snow day

In England, it very rarely snows. Because if this, when it does snow, the whole county pretty much shuts down, as it did today. Because 7cm of snow fell, I ended up having to abandon my car & get my uncle to pick me up in his 4x4! My friend in Canada sent me this picture, that made it all seem a bit ridiculous!

I am inspired by so many things, most of them completely random and unrelated to fashion, like the image below, for example....

New fabrics

I say new, I've actually been collecting an eclectic mix of fabrics for some time now. I probably should be coming up with a particular 'concept' or 'story' for my deigns but, at the moment, I am happy just going with 'things I love'. Hopefully you will like them, too!

Snow day!

It doesn't snow very often in England and I know that this amount of snow is tiny compared to many places, but for us, this is something to be excited about!

Memory lane

When I was a kid, my grandma & grandpa used to take me away in their caravan on holiday. I have some really amazing memories of these trips and even more came flooding back when I found one of our old sleeping bags with this memorable print on! Good times :)

My new fave.....

I bought this fabric in Sydney a few years ago and I finally got round to putting it to good use. This style is one of my new faves :)

Baking

My very lovely sister came round this eve to bake some Nutella muffins with me. Unfortunately, they were a disaster, but at least we had fun! I loved the look of the neon silicone moulds as we washed up, I'm always into bright colours.....
