I absolutely love this necklace by gracelandjewelery on Etsy but, unfortunately, it is way out of my price range. I'm currently rummaging around in my bead box in the hope of doing a bit of DIY.....watch this space!

New Karrah Designs prints!

It's been a while since I introduced some new prints into my Karrah Designs accessories range and I thought it was about time that I added something new. I had a rummage through my sewing box, as I have loads of amazing fabrics that I have bought on my travels, but never got around to using. As a result, some of the new styles will be very limited! Here are 3 for today;

This fabric was one that I bought in Sydney and used to make a skirt with. I had about half a metre left that I had shipped back to England (I love the print and couldn't part with it!). I haven't got enough fabric to make any clothes, so I thought I should make a few clutches, including one for myself, of course!

This is another limited edition print, as I got the fabric from a flea market (in Paris, I think!). I love the story that is being told in the print, it is full of linear drawings of quaint scenes from times gone by!

Finally,  lovely jade green ikat style print, perfect for the summer months. This fabric was also bought on a trip, this time to Wales!

Snow day

In England, it very rarely snows. Because if this, when it does snow, the whole county pretty much shuts down, as it did today. Because 7cm of snow fell, I ended up having to abandon my car & get my uncle to pick me up in his 4x4! My friend in Canada sent me this picture, that made it all seem a bit ridiculous!
